About Benjamin

My name is Ben, and I'm from Whangarei. My interests include math, computers, gaming and football. My passion for teaching started with helping my younger sister with her homework. It felt good helping her, and it also helped me understand and appreciate the concepts I was helping her learn.

About the lesson

My lessons will start with reading over an exam paper or internal . Then we will look at a question on the exam and learn all the skills and knowledge needed to answer the question and finally conclude the lesson with you having a go at answering the exam question. I will not just teach you the content but will explain why the content is useful to learn. My biggest problem at school was finding the stuff I was learning meaningless as l didn't understand why I was learning and this and that made me feel bored when studying. We will focus on questions on problems rather than on note taking as much as possible as active learning is the best learning.
