While my PhD is in physical chemistry, I am restricting my tutoring to general chemistry including 1syt year college as well as Honors and AP.

I apply my fifty plus years of teaching (university, medical school as well as high school) to the development of techniques to help students break through any barriers to learning. This comes from both a theoretical (principles) approach as well as a laboratorr based experiential approach). I also emphasize cogent writing in responses to essay questions and in lab reports. Essentail to all of this is to recognize the differences in responses to what and why questions.
