About Jamie
I am new to Australia and really looking forward to teaching new students and helping them to succeed in math. I'm comfortable teaching students looking for extension or students who struggle and have low confidence in math. My aim is to make students feel they are succeeding in math and confident to use these skills in their future. Originally from UK and studied mechanical engineering at University of Glasgow. Teach years 7-12 but also have a lot of experience tutoring younger students too.

Will sit down with the student and identify how to help them progress. Will come up with an individual plan. Throughout the lesson I will demonstrate and guide students through problems giving them plenty of time to practice questions.
Happy to provide homework for students to work independently after the lesson.
I have been a teacher for over a decade in New Zealand and Australia and have tutored individual students for many years too.
My lessons can be for students of any school year.
