About Ben

I’m Ben, a nuclear engineer with a practical, structured approach to teaching GCSE and A-level Maths and Physics. I enjoy helping students turn confusing topics into clear steps they can repeat under exam pressure. I’m calm, patient, and direct, and I focus on building strong fundamentals, accurate working, and reliable exam technique. My aim is simple: help you improve grades and confidence through consistent practice and clear feedback.

About the lesson

I tutor GCSE and A-level Maths and Physics with a clear, exam-focused approach. We start with a quick diagnostic to find gaps, then build a simple method for each topic (notes, worked examples, then timed questions). Lessons are typically 60 minutes, with optional homework and a short progress plan after each session. I focus on problem solving, showing full working, and avoiding common mark scheme traps. I can support Foundation or Higher GCSE, and all A-level boards, including revision planning and mock exam practice.
