About Beatriz
I am a Year 12 A-Level student and an aspiring financial analyst, currently studying Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Chemistry, and an EPQ. I am also preparing for the TUMA and AEA mathematics exams. Passionate about mathematics, I hope to study Mathematics and Economics at university. As someone who achieved a grade 9 in GCSE Mathematics, I am dedicated to helping students achieve top grades (7-9) in their GCSEs. In addition to maths, I provide tuition in Chemistry, which was my second favourite subject at GCSE and a key reason I chose it as an A-Level. I also achieved a grade 9 in Chemistry at GCSE. As a native Spanish speaker, I am eager to help students excel in Spanish, drawing from my own experience of achieving a grade 9 in GCSE Spanish. I also offer 11+ tuition because I believe in setting students up for long-term success from a young age.

I offer 11+ and GCSE tutoring in maths, chemistry, and Spanish. Lessons can last one to two hours, depending on your necessities. Lessons will be carried out 5-6 times a week (this can be adjusted) and will take place via Zoom/in person. I have been tutoring since year 11. My biggest achievement while tutoring has been taking a student who was out of education for 8 months straight from a grade 3 to 6 in maths GCSE in 6 weeks. Info for GCSE tutoring: - Students will be given a past paper to complete under time conditions to understand the student's weak and strong points and current grades. - Then, we will go over each topic that the student is weak in. Once we go over a topic the student will receive an end-of-topic/unit test to check if they have improved. If not we will re-visit it until the student achieves a minimum of 90% - As we get closer to the GCSE period we will focus more on exam technique and completing past papers in time. -resources, including past papers, topic/unit worksheets, cheat sheets, etc, will be provided for free -outside of the lesson homework will be given which will be due every Friday. Info for 11+ tutoring: - Students will be tested for each sector of the 11+ exams (Maths, English, Verbal, and Non-Verbal Reasoning) to pinpoint student's weak and strong points. - We will go over weak points from each subject in a 2 to 3-lesson rotation. Once topics are complete students will be tested again until they achieve a minimum of 95%. - resources such as past papers, worksheets, and online workbooks will be provided for free. -outside of the lesson homework will be given which will be due every Friday.
