About WESAM
I am a dedicated and patient tutor with a strong academic and professional background in engineering and applied mathematics. I earned my Bachelor’s in Renewable Energy Engineering with a minor in Applied Mathematics from the Oregon Institute of Technology, where I also supported students as an academic tutor. My work as an energy engineer allows me to bring real-world problem-solving experience into my lessons, helping students understand both the theory and practical application of STEM subjects. I value clarity, structure, and mutual respect in every session. Students can expect me to be prepared, consistent, and focused on their success. My goal is not only to strengthen academic skills, but also to build confidence and help students develop the mindset needed to tackle challenging material. As a Renewable Energy Engineer with ASK Energy and a graduate of the Oregon Institute of Technology, I bring a strong foundation in applied mathematics, physics, and engineering to every tutoring session. My teaching approach focuses on breaking down complex concepts into clear, intuitive steps, helping students build confidence and mastery rather than memorization.
A typical lesson begins with understanding your current level, reviewing problem-solving strategies, and working through targeted examples that mirror real academic assignments. I incorporate real-world engineering applications—from energy systems to electrochemistry—to show students how classroom theory becomes practical skill.
I tutor a wide range of courses, including calculus (I–IV), differential equations, linear algebra, general and analytical chemistry, physics, electronics, circuits, statistics, and renewable energy technologies such as photovoltaics, batteries, and power systems.
