About Hanna
Unlock Your Academic Potential with Expert Tutoring With nearly a decade of experience in tutoring and education, I am committed to helping students build confidence, master challenging subjects, and achieve their academic goals. I hold a B.S. in Human Biology and an M.S. in Biomedical Sciences, and I will be starting medical school this year. My background as an Instructional Assistant at UC San Diego, a researcher in biomedical sciences, and a private tutor has equipped me with the skills to break down complex concepts into clear, engaging lessons tailored to each student’s learning style. I believe that every student has the potential to succeed—they just need the right guidance, encouragement, and strategies. A Typical Lesson Plan
Each lesson is structured to maximize comprehension and retention:
1. Warm-Up & Review (5-10 min) – Recap of previous material to reinforce learning
2. Concept Introduction (15-20 min) – Breakdown of new topics using engaging explanations and examples
3. Guided Practice (20-30 min) – Working through problems together to apply the concept
Independent Practice (15-20 min) – Student-led exercises to build confidence
4. Q&A & Wrap-Up (10 min) – Addressing any questions and summarizing key takeaways
5. Homework/Next Steps – Assigning tailored exercises to reinforce learning before the next session
