About Melany

I was born in Venezuela and graduated as a cook from the ICTC (Culinary Institute of the Caribbean), after I finished I was offered to be a tutor for Venezuelan food and also for bread baking inside the same institute I graduated from, which I enjoyed immensely, I love to teach the ins and outs of the kitchen, the tricks and most important how to encourage people to transform the food when the recipe fails (which at the beginning it will happen) food is a living art, is transformative and nourishing, I moved to Orlando, FL a few years ago and with the help of my sister we opened a bread bakery… my true calling the thing that I enjoy the most is to teach

About the lesson

I’m a patient teacher, I focus on teaching from the ground up and work around the skills that you have to teach you the skills that you will need to succeed in the recipes that you are trying to achieve, I will give you all my tricks and teach you how to navigate the machines if you have them, or to do it by hand! food is the thing that connects all people!!

She is very patient and confident in her knowledge, very passionate in every aspect of cooking, for every question that you may have she will definitely answer with base studies or the theory behind of it all, I have learned with her in the past 3 years more about baking that any book, video or YouTube tutorial could have. She sells herself short by only putting baking she is a master in flavor infusion and flavor profile development, I definitely will categorize her as a genius in the kitchen!
