About Don Jelo

I'm someone who’s always had a passion for communication and creativity. Growing up in the Philippines, I studied in the Science, Technology, and Engineering (STE) Program, but my heart found its way into radio broadcasting, scriptwriting, journalism, event hosting, and voice-over work. I’ve gained valuable experience that I now love to share with others helping them build confidence in speaking and reading English with the right tone and pronunciation. I’ve also competed in storytelling and debate competitions, which have sharpened my skills in clear communication, persuasive speaking, and captivating an audience. And when I’m not behind a mic or on stage, you’ll probably find me dancing Latin ballroom—there’s just something about the rhythm and connection that makes me feel alive. Whether it’s on the dance floor or through my voice, I’m always looking for ways to connect, inspire, and express myself.

About the lesson

I offer comprehensive lessons that cover Radio Broadcasting Basics, including scriptwriting, voice modulation, and delivery. My curriculum also focuses on Event Hosting Skills such as public speaking, stage presence, and audience engagement. Additionally, I teach Journalism Essentials, emphasizing newswriting, storytelling, and ethical reporting. For those interested in voice-over work, I provide training on tone, pacing, and character voice development. Furthermore, I guide students in reading English with the correct tone, pronunciation, and confidence, ensuring effective communication in various contexts.
