About Layla

I averaged high 90s in high school English, work as a substitute teacher at a Montessori school, and received a 95 in my first college English course. I have experience working with kids from eighteen months to fifteen years old. My passion for teaching and love for reading fuel my desire to teach English. I want to help you (or your kid) to not just be proficient but to learn to love reading and writing.

About the lesson

As a young person who graduated high school in 2024 I understand what it’s like to be a student. I know what will be expected of you and how to prepare you for English in any grade. English was my best subject in school and I would love to instil others with the confidence and determination to succeed.

Layla has helped me a lot with my art development in the past. We are good friends and she always finds multiple approaches to teaching so that I can understand. She has always been able to answer any question I had and I am happy to recommend her to anyone.
