About Lorie
I take tutoring very seriously and approach every lesson with professionalism, preparation, and dedication. Even as a Grade 11 student, I am highly organized and committed to helping each student succeed. I come prepared to every session, explain concepts clearly and patiently, and adapt my teaching style to match each student’s learning needs. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to build their confidence and make math feel more approachable and less stressful. I believe that with the right guidance, every student can succeed in math, and I am fully committed to providing a supportive and focused learning experience for every student I work with.

As a Grade 11 student, I understand the challenges students face when learning math because I have recently studied the same material myself. I explain concepts in a simple and clear way that makes them easier to understand. I am patient, supportive, and focused on helping students build confidence in their abilities. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to help them truly understand math so they can succeed in future classes. Because I am close in age, students often feel more comfortable asking questions, which creates a positive and effective learning environment.
