About Jayson
Hello! I am a licensed Mathematics teacher with experience teaching junior high school students in a public school. I am passionate about helping learners build a strong foundation in mathematics through patient, engaging, and personalized instruction. I believe every student can succeed when lessons are tailored to their individual needs and learning pace. My goal is not only to improve grades but also to develop confidence, critical thinking, and a genuine appreciation for learning mathematics.

My teaching approach is student-centered and data-driven. Before beginning instruction, I assess my students' strengths and weaknesses through a diagnostic assessment. The results help me plan my weekly lessons and choose teaching strategies that match their learning needs. I believe that every student learns differently, so I use differentiated instruction, guided practice, questioning, and real-life examples to make learning meaningful and engaging. I also provide continuous feedback to help students improve their understanding and confidence. What sets me apart is my strong focus on the learning process rather than simply achieving high test scores. While academic results are important, I believe that understanding how students learn is the key to long-term success. I continuously observe their progress and provide appropriate interventions, including individualized learning materials and additional support for students with different learning abilities. My goal is to ensure that every learner develops confidence, critical thinking skills, and a genuine understanding of the lesson..My lessons are designed for junior high school students, especially those in Grade 7. I enjoy teaching this level because it is where the foundation of mathematical knowledge and problem-solving skills is established. A strong foundation helps students become more prepared for higher-level mathematics in the succeeding grades. My lessons are also suitable for students who need remediation, enrichment, or personalized instruction, as I adapt my teaching methods to meet each learner's unique needs and pace.
