About Nariah

Hiya! I’m a high school senior with a deep passion for language, grammar, and clear communication. Writing can often feel overwhelming or frustrating, so I started tutoring to show students that anyone can become a confident writer with the right tools. While I am a new tutor, I have a proven track record when it comes to high-level writing mechanics. I recently competed in the UIL Journalism competition and won 2nd place in Copy Editing. This experience required me to master strict style guides, catch hidden grammatical errors under tight time constraints, and polish text to perfection. I bring that exact eye for detail to every student I help. Because I am currently in school myself, I know exactly what teachers look for on rubrics. I bridge the gap between strict classroom rules and relatable, easy-to-understand peer guidance. My goal is to make grammar simple, essays stress-free, and editing a skill you can use for the rest of your academic career.

About the lesson

Even though I'm currently a high school senior, I understand exactly what teachers are looking for right now. My lessons are casual, collaborative, and entirely stress-free.

The First Lesson (Diagnostic): We will look over your current syllabus, past assignments, or a piece of your writing to see what areas need the most love.

Targeted Practice: We will work through tricky grammar rules or essay prompts together, breaking them down into simple steps.

The "UIL Method": I will share the exact checklist and editing shortcuts I used to win 2nd place in the UIL Copy Editing competition so you can spot your own mistakes faster.

Continuous Support: I provide clear, constructive feedback without the boring lectures.
