About Kavya

I am a high school student who has always loved math. I decided to become a tutor after a few years of helping students understand lessons in class. I tutored a girl in SAT math and raised her score from 680 to 770 in a few weeks. I also tutored a 10th grade student in Geometry and raised her C- to a B+ within 1 semester. I have gotten straight A's in the highest level math courses offered. Also, I got a perfect score on the math portion of the SAT.

About the lesson

I am a high school student. I've tutored other high schoolers in various levels of computer science, math, science, and history. I'm also a volunteer at PerfectBind, where I teach English to elementary school kids. I am also a dance instructor. Overall, I genuinely love teaching and helping others, I'm great with kids, and I am proficient in JavaScript and with computers.
