About Ethan

I’ve always been a pretty quick learner, especially during middle school, which helped me get ahead in my classes and take on more advanced material. Now, I’d like to use what I’ve learned to help other students get ahead too, while also working toward paying for my college tuition. I want my students to feel comfortable asking me any questions they have, even if they think its silly. My goal is to make learning feel comfortable and help students make real progress.

I try my best to keep a quick pace while teaching, which is great for students who are looking to catch up. Typically, each lesson is based on what the student is currently learning and where they are academically. What can set me apart from other tutors is that I can relate to students’ needs better than most adults, since I have more time to connect with and understand your student. These lessons are typically for middle schoolers who are behind or are looking to test into an advanced or accelerated class, such as moving from Pre-Algebra to Algebra 1.
