About Katherine

I am currently an undergraduate student at the University of Lethbridge studying History and Social Studies Education as well as studying with the faculty of education. I have previously worked with the City of Calgarys After School programs and provided homework help there as well as volunteering with Girl Guides of Canada. I graduated high school with honours and am currently at a 3.6 GPA. I can also provide a clear Police Record Check with Vulnerable Sector check.

About the lesson

I offer an individualized lesson plan and work with students to develop and achieve realistic goals that will help them reach the grade or other academic goal they’re after. A typical lesson plan will be based on the learning goals of each grade and subject and follow what the student is learning in class as well as prepare them for assignments and tests coming up. I can also offer review sessions based around final exams, diplomas and final assignments. I have experience working with students with learning disabilities including Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD, and am willing to adapt teaching styles to each student’s needs.
