About Mariana

I am an undergraduate student of Linguistics and Anthropology at The University of Winnipeg, where I also work as a Spanish T.A.
I like to encourage myself and the others to learn a new language, so I decided to teach the languages that I am proficient in. Besides conducting Spanish labs at the university, I also have experience teaching English to kids in Colombia.

About the lesson

My lessons focus on improving speaking skills, however I can work based on the skill/s my student wants to concentrate and reinforce.
I like guide my lessons with textbook material and addressing specific topics and vocabulary in each class.

Mariana has a very patient and understanding personality which makes it great for beginners to learn at their pace. She uses different techniques like various games to keep it interesting. However she shows great command of many languages so mid level students, like I am, benefit likewise. She really puts her heart into teaching and explaining.
