About Vaibhav

I have always been an enthusiast of English and my teachers have considered me one of the cream students. Public speaking, particularly debating and storytelling at the Inter School and state level has been my forte. I have always wanted to be a professor of English as teaching is my most cherished activity. Thus my motto is to receive an honorary degree from an Ivy League college and work as an English professor. The main pleasure that I derive is sharing my knowledge with others and making them celebrate English-both Literature and Language. Students have benefited from this and have emerged with flying colors. I can very well claim, that I just DO NOT get enough of English, owing to its vast possibilities. Every second reading of the subject opens new doors to the grounds of exploration to me and that is what I target to get across to my students.

About the lesson

My teaching is centered around the understanding of the subject, for both- as your board demands and as your life demands. Literary plus in-depth understanding of the concept is the topmost priority alongside other nitty-gritties that the council may demand. It's never a one-sided conversation, rather a two-way traffic. Furthermore, cramming of the subject matter shall never be encouraged, but, tricks, tactics, and mnemonics will be shared in class to facilitate retention. The art of storytelling is the most used teaching technique in my class. It's no use if the student is only physically present in class, thus I make it a point to eliminate all chances of boredom, especially in a theory-oriented subject, such as English. I firmly believe that the capacities of a teacher can only be gauged by her/his students. Thus I try my level best to make my students understand what exactly the subject matter of study is, with my own diagrams (yes diagrams in English), flowcharts, and tricks.

He keeps the class in full momentum and i am sure this communicative nature of his will go a long way in contributing to his success in whichever field he decides to land himself in. However it never felt like a demand to me because he left no stone unturned to keep us glued to the screen and books during the class. He tells many such things that they do not tell at school- cross references, proper way to write an answer/essay, the requists of a good answer, everything. He explains so well, like a story that it becomes difficult to forget. His language is simple and lucid without any high sounding words, even in Hindi at times and that made me understand his taught concepts so well! His analysis of the characters, proper explanation of in between the line concepts are simply immaculate.
