About Emdya

Mathematics may be daunting to students who do not enjoy the subject; as a high school and college student myself, I understand the anxiety that may build up because of mathematical concepts. Practice cannot create perfection, but it builds consistency and confidence. Oftentimes, one is limited by self-doubt and my job as your tutor is to instill the mindset and ability to not only excel in math but understand the concepts(Perhaps you'll find a love for math!).
When I am not finishing schoolwork, I partner up with tutoring services to help out my peers and students from all backgrounds. I work with an organization called Novelly to help kids learn through literature and understand the issues in our world.
- I enjoy reading and writing poetry.
-Volunteer work is one of my passions, as I volunteer at Feeding South Florida at least once a week.
- I've danced for 5+ years, and currently attend the ballet, modern, hip-hop, and reggaeton classes at my studio five days a week.

About the lesson

- My lessons are garnered towards middle school and high school students, who learn best through practice questions
-Several practice problems, and worksheets, all worked out step-by-step
- I will also allow the student to provide me with their homework questions, and we can work them out together if needed!
- Test-taking tips for math exams
- Access to study materials- I will provide the student with a compendium of study materials, videos, and websites focused on how the student learns best (Visual learners, students who excel with repetition of vocabulary, etc.)
-Open communication and flexibility.
- My goal is to create a comfortable environment for introverted students who feel insecure about their mathematical abilities. (We will conquer together!)
- Positivity and encouragement to push boundaries
-Stress-free zone focused solely on your success :)
-Great for college students taking MAC 1105 (College Algebra) and MAC Intermediate Algebra
