About Jonny
With over 10 years of experience teaching English as a second language, in Brazil, China, and the United States, I've taught children, college students, and adults, in one-on-one and lecture settings. I like to create a safe space in my classroom for learners to be able to practice without feeling self-conscious. Games are great tools to create dialogue, the interaction giving learners an opportunity to think in the language. I encourage learners to focus on daily practice in writing and reading, in addition to their spoken efforts. My goal through my classes is to have you feeling ready to survive and thrive with practical language skills where you feel comfortable expressing yourself in your second language.
