About Lilly
Before dancing, I was a teacher, and a nanny. I’ve always been somewhat of a mentor, and someone people can look up to and ask for help. Dancing is no different. Teaching for the last year has taught me to use different teaching styles and to understand different learning styles only my students. It has taught me patience and persistence, knowing everyone can get there with a little time and communication.

Dancing can seem daunting. The moves, the style, the counts… there’s so many things that go into play to create the perfect flow. Going to the local dance bar is helpful, but sometimes that one on one instruction is crucial in the journey to find your dance spark. That’s where I come in. Before country dancing, I had never danced in my life. I was a sideline observer, hoping one day I’d make it. Three years later, I’ve done exactly that. I’ve been dancing at 15+ bars in 7+ states, I’ve competed in line dancing and partner dancing, and have been instructing for well over a year now. Some of my best memories have come from dancing, and my hope is to give you that same feeling.

Not only has she taught me she also introduced me to a community of other dancers and created a great space for me to learn.
