About Mwende

Hi there! I’m a homeschooling mama of three, an upcoming YouTuber and podcaster, and a firm believer that learning never stops—for kids and adults alike! Every day is an opportunity to discover something new, and that’s exactly what I bring to my classes. I don’t just teach—I learn alongside my students. I love having deep, thoughtful (and sometimes hilariously unexpected!) conversations with kids, watching their curiosity spark, and guiding them to become confident readers, writers, and thinkers. I also teach at a homeschool co-op, where I engage with different learning styles and help students find joy in language and storytelling. Whether it’s diving into a great book, crafting an imaginative story, or decoding the mysteries of Latin, I make lessons interactive, fun, and tailored to each child’s unique way of learning. About the lesson

With 3 years of experience teaching young learners, I know how to make learning enjoyable and effective. Whether your child needs help with reading, writing, comprehension, or Latin basics, I provide a nurturing, structured, and confidence-boosting learning environment. Storytelling & Discussions – I bring lessons to life through stories, role-playing, and engaging conversations. Step-by-Step Writing Guidance – From crafting strong sentences to creative storytelling, I help kids express their thoughts with confidence. Fun & Interactive Latin Lessons – Learning Latin doesn’t have to be dry! I use songs and memory techniques to make it easy to remember. Encouraging & Personalised – I meet students where they are, building their skills at a comfortable pace. I teach Grade 1-5 students looking to improve their English, Writing, Reading or Latin skills. Young learners who need extra support or enrichment in language studies.
