About Allison
I am a certified elementary teacher with experience supporting a wide range of learners in reading and math. As a certified elementary teacher, I take a student-centered approach that focuses on building both skills and confidence. I like to keep sessions engaging and supportive, using clear instruction, guided practice, and activities that match each student’s needs.
A typical lesson includes a quick check-in or review, focused work on a specific reading or math skill, and time to practice in a way that feels manageable and encouraging.
I really prioritize creating a positive environment where students feel comfortable taking risks and asking questions. I have experience working with a wide range of learners, so I adjust my approach based on what works best for each child. My tutoring is a good fit for elementary students who need extra support, a confidence boost, or a little challenge to keep growing.
