About William

I’m a newly graduated MD with over a decade of experience in academic mentorship, tutoring, and medical education. I’ve worked with students from high school to medical school, specializing in ACT prep, science tutoring, pre-med advising, and application coaching. I’ve served as a medical school tutor, academic success coach, and student leader, and I bring a passion for helping others achieve clarity, confidence, and results in their academic journey. Whether you’re aiming for a higher test score, mastering tough science concepts, or preparing for a career in medicine, I’ll help you get there with a personalized, focused approach.

About the lesson

ACT Prep – I break down each section with targeted strategies, timed drills, and real practice tests. I focus especially on the Science and Reading sections, helping students improve both speed and accuracy.
Science Tutoring – I simplify complex topics in biology, chemistry, physics, anatomy, and physiology. I use visual aids, real-life clinical examples, and spaced repetition for long-term retention.
Pre-Med + MCAT Coaching – I guide students through MCAT prep, application timelines, extracurricular planning, and personal statement/resume editing.
Test Prep + Study Skills – Learn evidence-based methods for memory, test-taking, and time management, personalized to your learning style.
Resume + Interview Coaching – I help students and applicants refine their resumes, prep for interviews, and craft compelling personal narratives.

Lesson Style:
Diagnostic-first: I assess where you are and customize every session to your needs
Tools: Active recall, spaced repetition, test simulations, and simplified frameworks
Interactive: Sessions are conversational, efficient, and always student-led
