About Michelle

Hello! I’m a current high school math teacher, but spent much of my career in middle school. Over the years, I’ve worked with hundreds of students, many of whom came to me feeling frustrated or discouraged about math. Helping those students build confidence and discover that they can succeed in learning math, is my passion. My approach is patient, encouraging, and highly individualized. I take the time to understand where each student is struggling, fill in gaps, and explain concepts in a way that finally makes them “click.” Parents often tell me that their child not only improves their grades but also gains a new sense of confidence in their ability to learn. Whether you’re preparing for a test, catching up after a tough semester, or just need math explained in a way that makes sense, I’m here to help you succeed.

About the lesson

Struggling with math doesn’t mean you can’t succeed — you just need the right guide! I’m a master’s-level certified teacher with 15+ years of experience in high school math and middle school math and science. I specialize in helping students build math confidence even those who find math challenging. Whether your goal is help with a specific course, fill learning gaps or develop strong problem-solving skills I am here to help you reach that goal! I make concepts clear and approachable. I specialize in all areas of middle school math, pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, statistics, general science, biology and chemistry.
