About Mjkjobs

I've been teaching for 22 years both in person and virtually predominately in grades K-4th grade. I have a Masters in Education Curriculum and Instruction specializing in Reading, Bachelors in Education, and several special certifications in different reading methods. I've taught hundreds of struggling readers to read with consistent structured, explicit, engaging lessons that are fun and meet their needs. Lessons are fun, build confidence, and give students what they need to develop and grow as a reader. I'm known for helping students that have struggled for years develop into strong confident readers. I'm experienced in teaching all elementary subjects. (concealed information)

Lessons constructed based on a reading screener and ongoing informal assessments! Instruction designed and based on individual student's needs. Building a strong foundation. Experienced and certified in methods for students that are Dyslexic and have many diverse needs. Instructional methods research based on the Science of Reading. 100% success rate with students!
