About the lesson

I believe practice makes perfect. The more you write and read the better you become. I base my classes around a different focus point each session and tailor each class to the students individual need. I like to take a collaborative approach, working through problems together and helping the students to work our for themselves where they could improve.

Lily

Verity and I were classmates for our A level exams, and she could tell that I was struggling keeping up with classwork. So she volunteered to help me outside class, starting with the basics to make sure that I had fundamental understandings of the texts that we were studying, and gradually built up to in-depth analysis and the wider context behind the books. She was instrumental to my success as a student and helped me when the teachers didn't want to take the time to do so. She was very patient and always offered constructive advice to help me.
