About Delaney

Hello! My name is Lane and I am from Portland, Oregon. I have been a full-time teacher for 5 years. Helping students shine is my joy and my passion, and I love spending time with students and guiding them through their educational journeys. Currently, I serve as the IB theater teacher at a high school, and I truly believe it is my life’s purpose to uplift and care for each and every student that comes through my path. I have had excellent success as a teacher; my students have all passed their IB assessments with flying colors two years in a row. Besides that, I am kind, approachable, and make sure to always have fun with all of my students.

About the lesson

Are you nervous about the SAT, regents, or upcoming end of the year exams? I offer a variety of engaging, effective, and accessible lessons for all students getting ready for an important test. I have experience teaching students from 5-12th grade, and can prepare anyone with clear and consistent strategies to help them ace even the most intimidating exam.

If you find yourself staring at an essay assignment that you just don’t know how to start, I can help! Essay writing is my joy, and I love guiding students to find their voice, master essay writing skills, and ace any essay assignment, whether it be for your English class or Creative Writing. All I need is one session to completely change the way you tackle an essay. I also make sure that essay writing is….fun! You’d be surprised how mastering the written word can open up so many doors.
