About Derrick

I am a certified middle school math teacher with additional one-on-one tutoring experience with students ages 10-25. My approach to tutoring is based on a fact I've gathered from experience: that many (if not most) mathematical failures come from anxiety more than a lack of knowledge. Together, we can unlock the power of your current knowledge to crack hard problems.

About the lesson

If you are tired of trying to learn math the same old way over and over again to no avail, or if you are itching to learn how intuitive math can really be, you are in the right place. I focus my lessons on really getting to the point of what you are doing, how it is applicable to the world around us, and how you can visualize it in multiple ways.
