About Vidya
I am an experienced mathematics tutor with an MSc in Applied Mathematics and over 5 years of teaching. My work integrates chaos theory and fractal geometry to illuminate complex systems and patterns in nature. I make abstract mathematics engaging and meaningful. I guide students through iterated functions, self-similarity, and strange attractors using simulations and vivid visual examples. This approach helps learners grasp advanced concepts intuitively. Students with curiosity about interdisciplinary science thrive in my classes, connecting mathematics to real-world phenomena. I foster reflective thinking, problem-solving, and independent exploration while ensuring solid understanding of concepts. Lessons encourage creativity, questioning, and active participation. Students develop confidence in tackling challenges and analyzing complex problems. Through this teaching style, learners become well-rounded mathematicians who not only master mathematics but also appreciate its depth, complexity, and inherent beauty.

I take a student-centered approach to teaching mathematics, emphasizing deep conceptual understanding and mastery of both foundational and advanced topics like abstract algebra, proofs, and number theory. My goal is to make complex concepts approachable.
I use a reflective, patient style that encourages curiosity and self-discovery. Students who enjoy independent learning or research receive guidance to develop personalized methods for solving complex problems. I help learners connect ideas, explore alternative perspectives, and think critically about abstract concepts.
Practice is meaningful, with an emphasis on reasoning and understanding rather than memorization. I cultivate problem-solving skills, creative thinking, and academic confidence. Through this approach, students uncover new ways to think mathematically and excel in higher-level mathematics. My teaching helps them grow into independent, capable, and curious thinkers.
