About Manpreet
I hold a Bachelor’s in Computer Science and an Ontario Advanced Diploma in Artificial Intelligence, with over 3 years of experience teaching Math, Computer Science, and STEM subjects. I specialize in making complex topics simple and engaging, tailoring lessons to each student’s learning style. With strong skills in programming, AI, and data analysis, I bring both academic knowledge and practical expertise into my teaching. Teaching Methodology and Techniques
I believe math is best learned when complex concepts are broken down into simple, logical steps. I use real-world examples, visual aids, and interactive problem-solving to make abstract ideas more understandable. My sessions encourage active participation, where students explain their reasoning and apply concepts to practice problems. I also integrate digital tools and AI-driven techniques (like adaptive problem sets) to personalize learning.
A Typical Lesson Plan
Quick Review (5 minutes): Check understanding of previous material with a short recap or practice problem.
Concept Introduction (10–15 minutes): Explain the new topic clearly, using examples and multiple approaches.
Guided Practice (20 minutes): Work through problems together, gradually shifting responsibility to the student.
Independent Practice (10 minutes): The student solves problems independently while I provide support if needed.
Wrap-Up (5 minutes): Summarize key takeaways, assign practice problems, and set goals for the next lesson.
