About Patrick
During my schooldays, I occasionally gave tutoring in mathematics. After graduation, I then taught German at a Chinese middle school as part of a voluntary service and thus gained teaching experience (albeit not in mathematics) in group lessons. During my subsequent studies in mathematics at the Goethe University Frankfurt, I gave regular tutoring to students of all ages. In addition, I have conducted several tutorials (linear algebra, elementary mathematics). I finished my Bachelor with 1.2, my Master with 1.0. Currently I am doing my PhD in mathematics at the Leibniz University Hannover. In addition to research, teaching is a big part of my job. I have already led exercise groups to various lectures (Algebra 1, Algebraic Geometry 2, Mathematics for Engineers 1).

I give private lessons and group lessons in mathematics. In doing so, I sit down with the students and work out on the basis of example exercises (from the textbook or self-designed), which understanding problems exist. In my view, it is important not only to be able to solve tasks in a straightforward way, but to develop an intuitive understanding of why the methods are used in class and how they work.

Perfect! Patrick ist sehr flexibel, absolut ein Meister seines Fachs und kann sich sehr gut auf die unterschiedlichsten Fragestellungen einstellen. Er arbeitet mit vielen anschaulichen Beispielen und variiert diese, wenn es mit dem Verständnis mal nicht auf Anhieb klappt. Ich bin sehr zufrieden und empfehle ihn gerne weiter.
