About Faheem

About Me I am an experienced tutor with over 20 years of teaching and professional experience in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry. I am currently a postgraduate student at the University of Auckland, pursuing a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering. I create a positive, encouraging, and results-focused learning environment where students feel confident to ask questions and enjoy learning. My approach focuses on simplifying concepts, building strong foundations, and helping students gain confidence in problem-solving. Students and parents can expect professionalism, patience, and genuine commitment to every student’s success.

About the lesson

‍ My Teaching Approach My tutoring focuses on clarity, confidence, and understanding. I simplify complex ideas using everyday examples and step-by-step explanations, helping students build strong conceptual foundations rather than just memorizing formulas. Each lesson typically runs for 60 minutes, depending on the student’s needs. I begin by reviewing key topics, guide students through practice problems, and finish with short reviews or quizzes to check understanding and progress. I’m a qualified professional engineer with over 20 years of experience in teaching and mentoring. I teach Maths, Physics, and Chemistry to students from Class 1 to 10, tailoring each session to their pace, goals, and confidence level. My lessons are ideal for students who want to strengthen their basics, prepare for exams, or boost confidence in science and maths subjects.
