I also taught GCSE Maths to learners who had passed or achieved their Functional Skills Maths Level 2. I specialised in working with medium to high risk service users who require an intensive level of intervention which necessitates a collaborative approach. During my spare time , I teach Maths, English and Science to private clients all over Staffordshire an Cheshire. I have over 5 years of teaching experience and I have been praised and graded outstanding by OFSTED.

About the lesson

My teaching method is a demonstrator or coach style especially in maths and science. I usually introduce the topic and demonstrate different methods on board and then allow leaner to take practice. In Science I tend to use the facilitator method whereby I ask questions and this helps learners' to develop skills to find answers and solutions through exploration. I also use hybrid or blended style method as it is inclusive, it enables me to tailor my teaching styles to student needs and appropriate subject matter.
