About Richard
Hi! I’m a 20-year-old University of Melbourne science student with a love for math and science, especially animal and human biology. I completed the IB with a score of 36 (ATAR 92.30) and now tutor students of all year levels, from primary school through to senior high school and IB. I understand that learning isn’t always easy, so I focus on making tricky concepts clear and approachable. My lessons are tailored to each student’s needs and learning style, with plenty of examples and practice to build confidence and understanding. I’m patient, friendly, and passionate about helping you reach your potential!

I teach maths and science to students of all year levels – from primary school through to IB and senior high school. My lessons are typically one hour, but I’m happy to adapt to suit each student’s needs.
My approach is all about making learning clear, practical, and engaging. I focus on breaking down tricky concepts into easy-to-understand steps, using examples, diagrams, and practice questions to build confidence. I also tailor my lessons to each student’s strengths, goals, and preferred learning style, so they can get the most out of every session.
I completed the IB with a score of 36 (ATAR 92.30) and am currently studying a Bachelor of Science at the University of Melbourne, majoring in marine biology. Next year, I’ll be switching to Paramedicine because helping people is what drives me and how I have found myself as a tutor!
