About Soumik

I am a Mathematics tutor with over 2+ years of experience in one-to-one home tutoring. I hold a B. Tech degree in Electrical Engineering and a B. Sc. degree in Physics (Hons.), both from the University of Calcutta. My teaching approach focuses on conceptual understanding, step-by-step problem-solving, syllabus-oriented sessions, and regular class notes to help students build confidence in Mathematics.

About the lesson

My Mathematics classes focus on building a strong conceptual understanding rather than simply memorizing formulas and methods. Each session is planned according to the student's class level and syllabus, ensuring systematic coverage of topics and effective preparation for school examinations.

Key Features of My Classes:

1. Classes are in Online mode only.
2. Duration of each class is of 1.5 Hrs.
3. Whole syllabus coverage according to the Board (ICSE, CBSE, WBBSE).
4. PDF of Class Notes are provided after every class.
5. Conceptual understanding with strong basics building.
6. Doubt Clearing.
7. Equipment Used: Pentab & Laptop are used to provide engaging online classes.

With nearly two years of experience in one-to-one home tutoring, I aim to make Mathematics easier to understand and help every student develop confidence in solving problems independently.

My goal is not just to help students complete their syllabus, but also to build a strong mathematical foundation for future learning.

Soumik has been my tutor for the past several months, helping me navigate challenging coursework. He is an exceptionally patient, attentive, and knowledgeable educator who tailors every lesson to my individual learning pace. Whenever I struggled with complex concepts, he broke them down into intuitive, real-world examples until everything clicked, which completely turned around my confidence before major exams. I wholeheartedly recommend Soumik to anyone on Superprof looking for a dedicated and encouraging tutor who genuinely cares about their students' growth and success.
