About Dan
Hi, I'm Dan, an undergraduate at the university of reading, studying mathematics. I have a keen interest in helping others achieve their full potential, as when I was going through school myself I benefitted immensely from tutoring and I personally believe I wouldn't of gotten where I am today without it.
I am a very friendly easy going 20 year old, originally from Leicestershire but moved to reading last year for university. I love sports and play regularly for a university campus team, as well as having a big interest in music.
In my first year of university I was involved in a university run programme called Reading scholars. This involved myself along with a few other students mentoring a group of a level students in mathematics on not only the subject itself, but their future whether that be university or some other form of higher education. I believe this has shown me not only that I want to help people reach the best of their ability, but also that actually I can have a very positive influence and I'm capable of being a good tutor.
