My approach to tutoring is rooted in a methodical yet adaptive teaching style that emphasizes comprehension through practical application. I begin by assessing the student's current knowledge and identifying gaps. This allows me to tailor each session to their specific needs, ensuring no time is wasted on areas they are already proficient in.
What distinguishes me as a tutor is my ability to connect with students on a personal level, understanding their unique learning styles and challenges. My background in engineering and experience in peer-led team learning at Miami Dade College have equipped me with an innovative approach to teaching complex mathematical concepts. Additionally, my use of technology and modern teaching tools integrates seamlessly into today’s educational demands, providing a comprehensive and engaging learning experience.
I specialize in tutoring students ranging from high school to college levels, including those pursuing their Associate or Bachelor’s degrees in fields that require strong mathematical foundations such as engineering, computer science, and natural sciences. My lessons are particularly beneficial for students taking courses in Algebra, Trigonometry, Calculus, physics and Differential Equations. I am also well-equipped to help students preparing for standardized tests that include quantitative sections.
