About Alexandra

Teaching is something I have enjoyed doing for many years now, and there's nothing more rewarding than seeing how much my students improve! Working with me means getting a dedicated educator, who is not only qualified, but eager to help you grow.

About the lesson

With over five years of teaching K-8 English Language Development (ELD), English, and Social Sciences, I prioritize creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment. I take a student-centered approach, tailoring lessons to your specific needs. Lessons will be broken down into digestible segments to ensure better understanding and long-term retention. I believe language learning is about more than just grammar—it's about empowerment. My passion for teaching sets me apart, as I am dedicated to helping each student grow and succeed. I look forward to working with you!

As a double major in Environmental Science and Political Science, translating my passions onto paper has never been my strong suit. However, I recognize that strong writing skills are essential for my future in environmental policy and advocacy work. Working with Alexandra has been a humbling and invaluable experience.

She helped me define my ideas, organize my thoughts, and approach writing in a clearer, more structured way. Her patience and ability to simplify complex writing concepts made a significant difference in how I view the writing process. Regardless of where you are in your education, you are never too advanced to benefit from guidance, and Alexandra provided exactly that. She not only helped me improve my current writing but also gave me a strong foundation that I can apply to future papers. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to enhance their writing skills.

I am so grateful for the incredible tutoring experience Alexandra provided for my 8-year-old daughter. Over the course of their sessions, Alexandra not only helped her improve her English and reading skills but also fostered a genuine love for learning. Alexandra's approach is both patient and engaging, making each lesson enjoyable while also challenging my daughter in the best way. My daughter’s confidence in reading and understanding texts has significantly grown, and I truly appreciate how Alexandra tailors her teaching style to my child’s needs. Highly recommend!
