About Marvelous Chinwe

Well i honestly do not like to come off as been too serious, i encourage a very healthy learning with a bit of fun sprinkled on the whole session. Learning becomes more fun and effective when the environment is friendly and relaxing, plus i feel self expression is the ultimate. Since we are miles apart, you can express yourself freely unlike you might be able to do in a class room with a blank faced teacher or lecturer.

Finally i encourage practice for those trying to learn basics in English such as how to speak and write, matter of fact i encourage my students to get really acquainted with their tutors on social spaces, so as to ensure continuity of the learning process.
I can't wait to see you in class.

About the lesson

The approach is participatory learning, as though we are same students reading together in a group, but with more expertise which would come from me as your tutor.
Expect to be drenched with questions, as your assimilation will be tested as we progress in the class.
Averagely, our lessons would take up to 2 hours, pending on the interest level, and the topics we hope to cover.

Growing up, i spent the better part of my time schooling kids my age on stuff we learned together, it was my means of keeping what I've learnt in school. Also in my high institution, organizing tutorials and reading groups were the other day. Also I've had several stints in secondary schools where I've taught English and Literature for WAEC and JAMB sitting students.
Also kids who found reading a challenge, were later able to pronounce words other than memorise passages after several weeks of learning how to read.

I honestly feel teaching kids how to read would be difficult to achieve without physical presence, as the child would need to be steered back to the class every now and then, which can only be done physically by a tutor. But for understanding pronounciation, grammar or studying linguistics related topics like Syntax, Phonology, Semantics, this platform would be very okay to achieve such.
