About Guieletta
Hello Students! I am Ms. Barnes and English Tutor. English is my favorite subject and we can make it be yours too! I would like you to know that I have a very warm, patient, and fun-loving attitude. My tutoring style is flexible. We will learn new words, read out loud, participation using visual techniques which helps us get better each session. Feel free to ask questions and we can work through answers together. I also invite you to share new words and use your imagination when writing while learning to pronounce and use words from single to multiple syllables in sentences. We are going to have so much fun improving our English skills. I hope to see you soon!

As a Tutor my main responsibility is creating a warm, comfortable, and safe environment during sessions for all students. I will maintain warmth and patience. My techniques are flexible. I will challenge students to improve their English skills through participation and using visual techniques. Example English: Reading and Vocabulary assignment * Provide a list of vocabulary words accompanied by definitions * Have students read short story which includes vocabulary words (broken out into syllabus style for pronunciation) * Follow up with an activity to assure student retains, listened and can define vocabulary words. Extra would be creating their own sentences for structure and using words in correct contexts. My tutoring skills are flexible providing versatility depending upon need of students. I have prior experience using my TEFL certification tutoring all ages to speak, read, and pronunciation of English words, sentence structure, reading more fluently in preparation to attend colleges and/or universities in the United States.
