¡Hola! I'm Arturo, originally from Mexico City, and I'm excited to help you discover the Spanish language!

For me, language is much more than grammar and vocabulary. It's a way to connect with people, understand different cultures and experience the world from a new perspective.

I know how valuable it is to feel comfortable when learning something new. That's why I want our lessons to be friendly, engaging and tailored to your goals. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to improve your conversational Spanish, we'll work together at a pace that suits you.

We can practise everyday conversations, learn useful expressions, explore Mexican culture and build your confidence step by step.

My goal is to make learning Spanish feel less intimidating and more enjoyable. Don't worry about making mistakes, they're a natural part of learning!

About the lesson

Methodology: Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) • Grammar-Translation • Audio-Lingual Method • Total Immersion.

Technique:
•Move from "closed" activities (direct vocabulary and rule introduction) to "open" activities (free-form roleplay, peer conversation, and improv skits).

• Pattern-Based Building: Teach structural formulas (such as quiero + infinitive, or converting English -tion nouns to Spanish -ción verbs) to jumpstart generative speech.

• Contextualised Vocabulary: Anchor new words to relatable scenarios—such as ordering at a restaurant, navigating a train
station, or describing family trees—rather than abstract lists.

• Spaced Repetition & Low-Volume Mastery: Limit new words to manageable sets (roughly 20 words per week) with frequent recycling rather than overwhelming students with high-volume lists.

• Integrated Skill Practice: Avoid teaching grammar in isolation; weave listening, reading, speaking, and writing into every thematic unit.
