About Zabdi

I’m Zabdi, a native Spanish speaker from Guatemala, currently based in Bern as a PhD researcher at the University of Bern’s Botanical Garden. Before moving to Switzerland, I spent 2.5 years as a university lecturer in Guatemala, teaching biology, environmental science, and geography to bachelor’s students. I also worked as a teaching assistant in Norway. Teaching is something I genuinely enjoy and have real experience in — both in classrooms and one-on-one.

About the lesson

I offer Spanish lessons adapted to what you actually need — no rigid textbook method. I focus on real communication, clear explanations, and practical progress from day one. I speak fluent English so I can switch languages when it helps you understand. I offer a free 30-minute first session so we can meet and see if it’s a good fit. Available in person in Bern or online via Zoom.
