About Yebsira
Hello! I'm Yebsira Tibebu, a dedicated George Washington University computer science student with a solid background in mathematics. I've consistently excelled in my math courses, and I teach using a method that blends interactive problem-solving with practical applications. To ensure that topics are grasped and maintained, I customise each class to the unique learning styles of my students. My mission is to make maths interesting and approachable so that children can succeed academically and gain confidence. I am here to support and mentor you on your maths journey with a real joy for teaching and a dedication to professionalism.

As a computer science student with a strong passion for math, my tutoring approach is designed to make math more enjoyable and effective. In order to encourage active learning, I use illustrations like diagrams to assist students better understand the material. I also assign problem sets and provide guidance to students as they work through them. One of the things my high school precalculus teacher did was to have students warm up before every class. This helped the students collaborate as they solved problems and gained more knowledge. I incorporate similar activities into my lesson plans. I use technology, like the iPad, to enhance learning. As a student myself, I can connect to the challenges that students encounter. Lastly, I wish to instill in my students my enthusiasm for maths. My lessons are suitable for students in middle school, high school, and college. I offer a distinctive and effective tutoring experience that supports students in achieving their academic objectives .
