About Edhi

Hi! I’m a high school student who really enjoys working with kids and helping others learn. My mom works at a preschool, and I’ve had the chance to help out there, which gave me early experience supporting young learners. I also worked at Kumon, where I guided students through math and reading, and I’ve built strong communication and responsibility skills through my retail job. These experiences have taught me patience and how to explain things in different ways. I’m passionate about school myself, especially math and science, and I enjoy sharing what I know in a way that makes learning less stressful and more encouraging.

About the lesson

As a passionate high school honors and AP student, I will focus on breaking down complex ideas into simple explanations that students can really understand. I'll use examples, practice problems, and interactive questions to make sure learning feels approachable and help build confidence.
I usually start by reviewing the student’s current class material or homework to see where challenges come up and the way the method that teachers use. Then, I explain the concept in a different way—using visuals, analogies, or practice questions—before guiding the student through problems themselves. We finish each session with a quick review and strategies for independent study.
I bring the perspective of a peer who’s recently mastered the same material, making my lessons relatable and approachable. With hands-on experience from working at an tutoring company, Kumon, I’ve learned how to explain concepts in multiple ways and adapt to different learning styles. I specialize in helping middle school and high school students in math, science, english, and study skills. Whether it’s preparing for a big test, building confidence in class, or strengthening foundations, I bring patience, positivity, and proven strategies to every session.
