About Marynelle

Hello! My name is Marynelle L. Gabawa, and I am a graduate of Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Social Studies.

My passion for teaching comes from my belief that every student has the ability to learn and succeed when given the right guidance and support. Throughout my studies and teaching experiences, I discovered that I genuinely enjoy helping students understand difficult concepts, build confidence, and achieve their academic goals.

I specialize in providing homework assistance, reading and writing support, creative writing, storytelling, English communication, and Social Studies lessons. I have also developed learning materials and writing programs that help students improve their creativity, critical thinking, and communication skills.

What motivates me to teach is seeing students grow from feeling unsure about a subject to becoming confident and independent learners. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching methods to match each student's needs, pace, and learning style.

My lessons are patient, interactive, and supportive. I create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and developing new skills. Whether you need help with homework, improving your writing, preparing for school, or building confidence in your studies, I am committed to helping you succeed.

My Teaching Approach as an English Tutor‍

Hi! I’m Marynelle L. Gabawa, a 4th-year college student taking up a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Social Studies. While my major is Social Studies, I also have a strong passion and foundation in teaching English, especially to young learners. I focus on helping students improve their English communication skills in a fun, clear, and interactive way.

Teaching Method & Techniques

My lessons are learner-centered and engaging. I use visual aids, storytelling, games, and real-life conversation practice to make English easier and more enjoyable to learn. I adjust my teaching techniques based on the student’s level—whether they're beginners or intermediate learners. I also use songs, role-plays, and simple exercises to improve vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and confidence.

A Typical Lesson Plan Includes:
Warm-up activity (greetings, simple question or review)

️Lesson focus (e.g., grammar rule, vocabulary theme, conversation skill)

️Practice time (through examples, guided exercises, or role-play)

️Student activity (such as games, speaking practice, or writing task)
