About Nithura

Hello! My name is Nithura, and I am a dedicated, encouraging, and highly professional educator who is deeply passionate about helping young students succeed. As a recent honors high school graduate heading to Wilfrid Laurier University this September to study finance, I bring a strong work ethic, exceptional academic discipline, and a modern understanding of the Ontario curriculum to every tutoring session. Over the past several years, I have built a strong reputation for reliability and professionalism through my work as a retail sales associate and my extensive volunteer history with local educational organizations. Over the years, I've directly assisted teachers and guided students with their classwork at Fossil Hill Public School, and I've graded and taught structured math concepts at UCMAS. I've developed a patient, adaptive communication style. I pride myself on maintaining a highly organized, punctual, and encouraging learning environment where parents can feel completely confident in their child’s academic progress, and students feel genuinely supported

About the lesson

Having recently graduated from high school and spent valuable time volunteering directly in local classrooms at Fossil Hill Public School, I understand how to truly connect with young learners and make reading, writing, spelling, and grammar feel approachable and fun. My lessons are entirely customized to meet your child's specific school curriculum and learning style, whether they are just starting with early phonics and reading in kindergarten or learning how to write structured essays and master complex grammar in grade 8. During a typical session, we always start with a fun, interactive vocabulary or word game to get energized, dive patiently into the core reading or writing concepts of the day, practice what we learned using creative activities, and wrap up with an encouraging review. What sets my tutoring apart is my hands-on classroom experience working alongside certified teachers, which taught me how to guide students through their homework with immense patience and show them that making mistakes is just a natural, exciting part of the learning journey
