About Ammar
I have to know the goals that my student want to achieve through the tutoring sessions. Then, I work with them on creating an individualized plan to meet their goals. The tutoring plan includes the math skills and basics they need to succeed. Through interactive and engaging sessions, we keep modifying our tutoring plan until we accomplish the mission. My long experience with standardized tests as a test taker and as a tutor enriches my tutoring experience that benefits my student to the maximum extent.

I have tutored hundreds of students in-person and online. I have helped them ace standardized tests, improve their grades, prepare for tests, and deepen their conceptual understanding of the math concepts. I enjoy making math easy to grasp by bridging all the knowledge and skills gaps that students might have. I arm my students with the math foundations which help them navigate smoothly in their math courses and tests. In my tutoring sessions, I engage my students in every step by asking them questions to make sure they follow. Based on our active interaction, I adjust the pace to suit the student. Students' needs differ, which requires an individualized tutoring plan for each one to satisfy their needs.
