About Anna
My Approach to Tutoring and Teaching
I take a practical, student-centered approach to teaching computer skills, focusing on building both understanding and confidence. My goal is not just to help students complete tasks, but to ensure they understand how and why things work so they can apply their knowledge independently.
Techniques and Teaching Methodology
I tailor each lesson to the student’s goals, learning style, and pace. I use a combination of guided instruction, live demonstrations, and hands-on practice. I also incorporate real-world examples so students can see how their skills apply outside the classroom. Regular check-ins, problem-solving exercises, and small projects help reinforce learning and track progress.
Typical Lesson Length
Lessons typically run for 60 minutes, which allows enough time to introduce concepts, practice skills, and review progress. Longer sessions (90–120 minutes) are available for more in-depth topics or project-based learning.
Qualifications and Experience
I have experience teaching a range of computer skills, including basic computer literacy, software applications, and more advanced topics depending on the student’s needs. I have worked with students of different ages and skill levels, helping them build confidence and achieve their learning goals through structured and supportive lessons.
