About Dianne

I’m a qualified primary teacher with a Bachelor of Primary Education and an Honours degree in Early Childhood Development. I have many years of teaching experience and a particular interest in helping children develop strong foundations in phonics, reading and maths. I understand that children learn at different paces, and I aim to make lessons relaxed, supportive and suited to each child’s needs. My goal is to help children build their skills, grow in confidence and enjoy learning.

About the lesson

I love helping children learn to read and seeing their confidence grow! If your child needs a bit of extra help with phonics, reading or maths, I’d be happy to help.

What I can help with:
Phonics practice, blending and decoding
Reading practice, fluency and comprehension
Primary maths support

My approach:
Patient, friendly and tailored to each child
Practical, fun activities and plenty of practice
Building skills and confidence at the child’s own pace

Bachelor of Primary Education
Honours degree in Early Childhood Development
Experienced primary and early years teacher

Lessons usually 45–60 minutes, depending on the child’s age and needs

I’m particularly keen to help children in Early Years and KS1 who need extra phonics and reading practice. A solid foundation in reading can make their whole learning journey a positive one.

Based around Teddington and Kingston.
